Final

I designed a teapot like creature in 3ds max. The idea of this would be like something that would go into a video game or animated movie. I do liked how it turned out but I would have liked to rig it in the end. Thank you Mr.smith for a great year, I learned a lot.

Week 18: Teapot Man

This week in max I designed a creature from the base teapot model. I just started adding more and more to it just changing the look. First it was just feet, then arms, then two arms etc. So it almost looks like something that could be in a video game, like Pokemon or something of that sorts. This will mostlikely be my final project, as I had another one in mind that didn't turn out that well.

Week 15: X-Wing

This week I started my final project after finishing my karambit 3d printed knife. I am not sure how well I can complete this project, because this looks like a very advanced build. I am not sure yet on how I will get the details in the model so it will be a learning experience.

Week 13: 3d printing

This week I will be printing out the karambit knife I modeled. The model was the most advanced think I have fully modeled this year. I really hope the out come of the will be sizable enough to recreate the real knife. the idea of a 3d printed trainer blade is cool as the real knife is dangerous.

Week 12: Karambit

This week I started working on a karambit knife. The karambit has a flip ring used for quick access. I plan on 3d printing the final product of this knife. I have to thank my upper classmate for helping me a large amount on making this knife.

Week 9: The Finished product

This week my group was able to get green screen footage for our plasma beam. In the finished product you will see a plasma beam being fired into someone. Then you will proceed to see my partner with a hole in his stomach. I hope the final product will turn out satisfactory.

Week 8:kamehkameha

This week my partner and I had some problems deciding what to do. but in our final decision we decided to have me shooting a lazer at my partner then using a green screen circle to make a hole in the in the body to make it look like the lazer struck threw him.

Week 6: Green Screen

This week we started a project in video compositing. I plan to video composite my classmate on this lion, I am not sure how difficult this will be. I am looking forward to exploring what I can do with chroma key using the green screen.

Week 5: College Pre Test part 2

This week I was gone for a large part because of sophomore testing. While I was in the classroom I was working on a college test that I could potentially take to get college credits. The small amount of time I worked on the pre test I found that I could possibly take it and get some credits.

Week Four: College Test

This week the class started working on a college 3ds max test that we could potentially do to get college credits. The test is not that difficult and just about everyone in our class room can do it. the goal is to make a 3d scene using the provided file, a aircraft carrier and a plane. I am looking into doing the actual test for college credits.

Week 3: Face

This week the class continued work on Joan of Arc’s face. We got a lot farther with the whole construction of the face. The use of plane modeling is very effective when modeling her face. I had some trouble when working around the nose, but otherwise I am excited to see how her face turns out.

Week 2: Face Modeling

This week we finished up modeling the body and started up with plane modeling. plane modeling takes a lot of time to learn and to get started. We are useing plane modeling to make the face a Joan of Arc. The beginning product gives good incite on what the final product will look like. I am excited to see what other things plane modeling could be used for.

Week One: Joan Of Arc

This week we started box modeling with the Joan of arch tutorial. I really enjoy the challenge and the results of box modeling. Box modeling is  fairly simple but complex at the same time, using the symmetry modifier you only have to model one side. I am very exited to continue box modeling.
